We are seeking a dedicated machine operator for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). This role involves cutting rolls of screening into various sizes according to customer specifications. The size and length of each order vary and precise measurements are essential. Responsibilities
* Operate machinery to cut rolls of screening into specified sizes.
* Ensure accurate measurements using calipers and tape measures.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Assist with lifting materials up to 75-100lbs occasionally.
* Perform basic arithmetic operations to ensure precision in measurements.
Essential Skills
* Strong manufacturing experience.
* Proficiency in basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
* Ability to lift heavy materials with assistance.
* Strong tape measuring skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Prior experience with calipers is beneficial.
* Previous machine operating experience is advantageous.
