In this role, you will keep our Planer Mill running smoothly and safely every single day.What You Will DoOperate and Care for Equipment: Work with essential mill machinery, including the stacker, debarking, edging, packing, and wrapping equipment.Keep Things Moving: Handle general labor tasks such as stacking, packaging, and wrapping lumber.Maintain a Clean Workspace: Keep the mill clean and organized to ensure a safe work area for everyone.Communicate Clearly: Spot any equipment issues early and report them right away to the Mill Supervisor.Focus on Quality: Watch production closely to ensure our lumber meets top quality standards.What We Look ForSafety First: You have a safety-minded attitude and respect working around heavy machinery and equipment.Great Drive: You are self-motivated, show up on time, and take pride in doing a great job.Team Player: You enjoy working closely with others to hit daily production goals safely.Experience: Less than 2 years of experience in a mill or manufacturing setting is required.Flexibility: You are ready and willing to work shift schedules.
