Working Lead – Machine Operation and Enclosure AssemblyThis role is a hands-on working lead position in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. You will operate a variety of machines, support enclosure assembly, and at times lead a small team on the shop floor. The position involves running equipment such as bandsaws, presses, shears, gasket machines, and CNC machinery, while performing general shop duties, material handling, and inspections. Training is provided to help you grow into the role and develop your leadership capabilities.ResponsibilitiesOperate various shop machines including bandsaws, tube benders, gasket machines, turret press, turret punch press, press, shear, saw, and other manufacturing equipment as assigned.Run CNC equipment and other production machinery safely and efficiently, following established procedures and quality standards.Perform enclosure assembly work, using a variety of hand and power tools and referencing blueprints and schematics to complete assemblies accurately.Lead a team on the shop floor at times, providing direction during assembly and production activities and supporting leadership development initiatives.Use tape measures, blueprints, and schematics to interpret measurements and specifications, ensuring parts and assemblies meet required dimensions.Conduct basic inspections of parts and assemblies to verify quality and adherence to specifications.Handle materials throughout the shop, including moving, staging, and organizing components and finished products.Operate overhead cranes or hoists, when needed, to safely move heavy materials and equipment.Perform general shop upkeep, including cleaning work areas, maintaining organization, and supporting a well-kept facility.Follow all safety guidelines and manufacturing procedures while using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and support continuous improvement in the shop.Participate in training provided for machine operation, assembly processes, and leadership responsibilities.Essential SkillsExperience operating manufacturing equipment such as bandsaws, presses, shears, gasket machines, and CNC machinery.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for assembly and production work.Proficiency using a tape measure and working with precise measurements.Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or production environment.Familiarity with overhead crane or hoist operation for material handling.Experience in production, assembly, or similar manufacturing roles.Ability to perform basic inspection of parts and assemblies to ensure quality.High school diploma (HS Diploma).Capacity to work as a working lead, providing guidance to others while remaining actively involved in daily tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working on multiple types of equipment across different areas of a shop, including press, shear, saw, and gasket machines.Exposure to leadership development or prior experience leading small teams in a manufacturing setting.Comfort working within enclosures and performing enclosure assembly tasks.Willingness to cross-train and learn new machines and processes.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Solid understanding of manufacturing safety practices and procedures.Why Work Here?Employees enjoy a supportive culture that emphasizes advancement opportunities and long-term growth. You will work on 1st shift, typically from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday scheduled for 5–8 hours as needed. The environment includes a variety of manufacturing technologies and equipment such as bandsaws, presses, shears, gasket machines, CNC machinery, and overhead cranes or hoists. The facility is designed to support efficient production, safe material handling, and comfortable working conditions throughout the year.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
