Machine OperatorVolt is immediately hiring Machine Operator in Forest Park, GA. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating brake press machines and plasma cutting equipment to bend, shape, weld, and finish sheet metal with precision and safety. You will also be responsible for cutting, trimming, and adjusting materials to meet production requirements while maintaining quality standards.
Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing, packing, palletizing, and loading materials for transport, ensuring secure and efficient handling. You will also be responsible for verifying shipping documents, bills of lading, and inventory accuracy; coordinating with carriers and drivers for timely pickups and deliveries.This is a full time, Contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of warehouse shipping procedures, machine operation or plasma cutting is required. Prior experience with brake press, plasma welding, or plasma table operation is preferred. Familiarity with trim finishing processes, experience in warehouse shipping roles, knowledge of quality control standards in manufacturing and shipping, the ability to troubleshoot minor machine or shipping issues and perform routine maintenance, and familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners are also preferred.Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.41 per hour.
