Fabrication PositionThe Fabrication position supports fabrication activities to ensure timely support of the manufacturing process in a safe and respectful manner. Produces parts and operates machines per supervisor direction, Manufacturing Work Instruction and or Job Instruction Breakdown. Specific tasks may vary for different work assignments.Responsibilities:Operate machines and or equipment such as but not limited to CNC Panel Bender, Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses, Spot Welders, Lasers, Brake Press, Die Stamping (will be expected to operate any assigned machine) to fabricate metal into parts for use in manufacturing processLoad and unload materials and or parts into or out of the machine with precision and accuracySelect proper software program to run specific parts on the machines and make software modifications as necessaryComplete set up tasks to prepare for shift such as getting proper fixtures, etc.Visually inspect and measure parts for accuracy and defectsPreventative maintenance tasksTrain employees on procedures and techniquesAssist in defining work instructionsHousekeeping and workstation organization tasksOther duties as assignedShift Hours:1st shift is at or around 6:00am - 2:00pm (M-F)2nd shift is at or around 2:00pm - 10:00pm (M-F)3rd shift is at or around 10:00pm - 6:00am (S-Th)This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended.

A negative drug/alcohol test result is required for employment. Refusal to take the test or a positive result may disqualify a candidate from further consideration. All drug testing will be conducted in accordance with federal and state laws.This is a continuous opening and applications will be reviewed periodically.Qualifications:Must have good numerical abilities Must be able to read and understand blueprints Familiarity with small hand tools and measuring devices Physical Abilities: o Ability to lift up to 40lbs o Ability to perform body movements including reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, turning, bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and fine manipulation o Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day o Ability to visually inspect details to spot defects Ability to adhere to strict attendance standards Computer skills Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment Ability to work both in a team environment and independently Has strong attention to detail and desire for precision and accuracy to uphold quality standardsPrior experience with fabrication and or machine operation in a manufacturing settingEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
