Machine Operator

Machine Operators 2nd and 3rd ShiftResponsible for operating machines in a clean manufacturing environment to produce precision metal components for a wide range of industries. You will set up, run, and monitor production equipment, perform visual inspections, and support general production activities to ensure high-quality output on all shifts.Responsibilities:Operate die casting and molding machines to produce precision metal components.Monitor machine operations to ensure equipment is running safely and efficiently.Perform visual inspections of castings and molded products to identify defects such as excessive flash, surface imperfections, and other quality concerns.Gather first-off pieces after machine setup and deliver them to the Quality team for inspection.Ensure assigned machines are operating properly and report any issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.Maintain production quality standards by following established work instructions and procedures.Handle, move, and transport raw materials and finished products throughout the production area.Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all company safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.15/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
