Manufacturing Equipment OperatorPay: $15.00 per hour Located in Athens ALJob description:Job Summary:We are seeking a dependable and motivated Manufacturing Equipment Operator to join our cardboard manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assisting in the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of production equipment used to produce corrugated cardboard products. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing— no prior experience required, training will be provided.Key Responsibilities:Assist in setting up and operating cardboard manufacturing machines (corrugators, die cutters, folder-gluers, etc.)Monitor equipment to ensure smooth operation and consistent product qualityInspect finished products to ensure they meet basic quality standardsFollow production schedules and meet daily output goalsKeep work area clean, organized, and safeReport any machine issues or safety concerns to supervisorsFollow all company policies and safety guidelinesQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred, but not requiredNo prior machine operating experience required – training providedAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWillingness to learn and follow instructionsBasic math and counting skillsAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsDependable with good attendance and a strong work ethicCommitment to following safety guidelinesWork Environment:Fast-paced manufacturing environmentExposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperaturesRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Schedule:Full-time; may include overtimeWhy Join Us:On-the-job trainingOpportunities for growth and advancementStable, team-oriented work environmentBenefits:On-the-job trainingHealth BenefitsWork Location: In person
