Molding OperatorWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Molding Operator to join our manufacturing team in Pineville, NC. In this role, you will operate molding presses and related equipment to produce high-quality fittings while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.The successful candidate will be committed to workplace safety, quality assurance, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.Pay: $23.97 per hour Shift: Day Shift, 6:30am-6:30pm, 4 days on, 4 days offKey ResponsibilitiesOperate molding presses and associated equipment, including hoppers, material loaders, and regrind loaders.Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and efficiency.Follow established work instructions and manufacturing procedures.Support daily production goals and maintain required productivity levels.Assist with corrective actions for production or quality concerns as needed.Quality ControlPerform product inspections using plug gauges, go/no-go gauges, ID thread gauges, and OD thread gauges.Complete ISO Quality Checklists accurately and on time.Identify, remove, segregate, and report scrap materials.Report non-conformances and assist with quality improvement efforts.Apply operator identification labels according to company requirements.Packaging & Material HandlingPackage finished goods according to established box, case, pallet, and labeling standards.Verify correct pallet configurations and packaging requirements.Support the proper storage and identification of materials and regrind products.Safety & HousekeepingFollow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies, procedures, and regulations.Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Report hazards, unsafe conditions, incidents, and equipment defects immediately.Participate in safety meetings, training, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsRequired:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.Ability to follow written instructions and manufacturing procedures.Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.Forklift experience or the ability to become forklift certified.Ability to work safely in a production environment.Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.Skills & Competencies:Strong attention to detailCommitment to workplace safetyQuality-focused mindsetTeamwork and communication skillsReliability and dependabilityProblem-solving abilitiesMechanical aptitudeAbility to meet production goals and quality standardsWorking ConditionsModerate to heavy physical activity.Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and material handling.Exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, and production materials.Moderate sensory and mental demands due to production schedules, quality standards, and deadlines.Why Join Us?Stable full-time employmentSafety-focused workplaceTraining and development opportunitiesTeam-oriented environmentCareer growth opportunities within manufacturing operationsEqual Opportunity & Accessibility:IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
