Corrugated Press Machine OperatorWe are looking for an experienced Corrugated Press Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate Corrugated Presses. You'll ensure the efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and can work with attention to detail and safety standards.
Being a team player is essential since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.Responsibilities:Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed)Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsFollow all safety rules and proceduresPerforms other duties and/or responsibilities as assignedMaintain activity logsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plusProven experience as a corrugated Press machine operatorOne year of experience as a machine operator working with CorrugatedWorking knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, tape measure, etc.)Understanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manualsAnalytical skillsAttention to detailTeamwork and communication skillsPhysical stamina and strength
