Machine Operator- CNC

Job TitleResponsible for running Robotic Cells which includes manual lathes such as, but not limited to, Mazak or Okuma, to chuck up and turn parts to specified dimensions. Operates Robots, Center Bench, Heat Treat and Hobb or Rack Roller. Stacks finished parts in shipping containers.

Make tolerance adjustments and perform tool changes. Inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy.Hourly Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.35Essential Functions:Reads work orders and blueprint specifications to determine what program needs to be runReviews material requirements and determines what machine adjustments need to be madeAbility to set machines up with program provided and make adjustments as neededAbility to manually maneuver Robots when necessaryAbility to multi-task several operationsMeasures parts to ensure dimensional accuracy using numerous precision gauges including but not limited to snap gauges, height gauges, calipers, dial indicator and micrometersFollows written and oral work instructionWorks well with supervision and co-workersOther duties may be assignedEducation and Training:High School Diploma or GEDCNC Machining experience is a plusMinimum Qualifications:Good verbal and written communication skills.Basic math skillsAbility to use precision measuring equipment such as, but not limited to calipers, snap gauges, height gauges, ring gauges, pin gauges and micrometers.Ability to read blueprints.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work well with others.Ability to read blueprints and ordersComputer literacy to record informationPhysical Demands:Ability to stand continuously for 8 – 12 hoursAbility to work in tight placesStrength and manual dexterity sufficient to operate tools to make repairsAbility to lift up to 20 pounds repetitivelyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds. occasionallyAbility to twist, bend and lift repetitivelyAbility to stand, crouch and climb to perform repairs, use ladders and perform various types of manual laborGood eye/hand coordination and good motor skillsEnvironmental Conditions:Exposure to loud noisesExposure to hot and humid conditionsExposure to coolants, oils, grease and waterEar and Eye protection required at all times in all production areasSteel toe boots with integrated metatarsal guards required in production areaWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
