Machine OperatorElwood Staffing is looking for motivated machine operators for a background friendly client in Jeffersonville!Plastic mold injection client specializing in HVAC and household appliances.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 16.00 to $ 16.50 / hourFull Time work availableVarious shifts availableResponsible for quality of parts produced, with a goal of ZERO Defects.Monitoring material levels in the work area.Inspect finished parts per operator instruction sheets and control plans.Pack parts per instruction sheets and control plans.Report any issues to Shift Lead.Log necessary information into a logbook.Keep work area tidy and organized - Pick up parts/debris from the floor.Ensure that all safety standards and procedures are followed.Assist in training new team members.Perform other tasks, as requested.Machine Operator Qualifications:Desire to work in a team-based, lean-manufacturing environment.Math skills and be able to use a calculator.Ability to read and write legibly and comprehend both written and verbal communications.Be able to work flexible hours and overtime, as needed.The physical demands for this position include being able to lift 30 to 35 pounds, must be able bend and stand for long periods of time 8 to 12 hour intervals; working frequently in close proximity to machinery, noise levels are moderate.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
