MACHINE OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Machine Operator for a food manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will cross train on various machinery within the facility to support production. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.
Pay rate
$16.50 per hour
Shifts and Schedules
Day shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
Customer schedule is 25-32 hours per week
Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare and set-up machinery and line daily prior to production.
* Check vacuum seal, cut off, fin seal and registration
* Metal detector checks, code date checks, documented every 15 minutes.
* Check code dates for the proper dates and reload ink film as needed
* Immediately report food safety and quality hazards to supervisors
Machine Operator Skills and Qualifications
* Signoff and understand all GMP standards
* Lift up to 45lbs maximum (in office assessment will be conducted)
* Work in hot environments and lots or walking
* Prior production or food experience is a plus
* Background check and drug screen required
