We currently have an opportunity for a Machine Operator at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.Responsibilities:Operate packaging equipment according to product specifications and ensure accuracy in weights and codesMaintain proper documentation of downtime and repairs.Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance work on equipmentContinually check the quality of the product, packaging, and case printing according to standard operating procedures and policies, and report any issuesMaintains cleanliness of equipment at all timesProactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunitiesQualifications:Able to work weekends, holidays and overtimeHigh school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institutionExperience operating machinesExperience in a food manufacturing facilityPhysical Requirements:Crouch, stoop, kneel, reach above shoulders, bend, balance, climb, work on ladder, push, pull, grasp, feel, perform fine manipulation, operate foot pedals, lift/carry, sit, stand and walk for extended periodsWork in dusty, high heat/humidity environments and confined spacesMake fine distinctions by soundCommunicate verbally and in writing, and distinguish objects or equipment visuallyShift: 5:30am-4pm or 4pm-2:30amSchedule: Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-SaturdayStarting pay: $21.50/hr
