Machine OperatorWe are looking for a skilled machine operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You'll ensure the efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.
On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.Shift is Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pmOvertime is available and occasionally requiredResponsibilitiesSet up machines (cleaning etc.) to start a production cycleFeed vitamin capsules into semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of all cleaning, machine parts, tools/utensils, and the roomMaintain activity logs on production records for weights, losses and final samples pulled for polishingLift barrels and orders up to 50 kGsAssist in other areas of production when assignedSkillsMust be comfortable working in powder environment, polishing is a very messy job and the powder will fly everywhere. Workers must have good attention to detail to ensure cleaning is properly done between every batch and signed off by quality control.Understanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g.
