The operator operates equipment safely and efficiently, meeting quality standards and production targets.
The main work location for this role will be the table line, but the ideal candidate will be asked to work in other locations as necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesOperates a wide variety of simple one step or one-process machines to manufacture ventilation or specialty products. Stays abreast of changes to the Illustrated Assembly Process sheets.Ensures that the work area has been set up to provide optimum safe work area and workflow. Monitors quality of materials supplied and parts produced.
Recommends corrections to machines or parts to eliminate scrap.Keeps track of production on daily schedule control sheets and other production reports. Tracks downtime of equipment and production.Inspects equipment for operating efficiency.Cleans and maintains work areas in accordance with plant standards.Completes all required training.Complies with relevant documentation requirements.Maintains assigned work areas in accordance with prescribed housekeeping standards.Understands normal conditions and potential problems in all assigned areas.Identifies basic production problems through systematic diagnosis.Reports abnormal conditions to the supervisor and/or team lead.Performs all duties, responsibilities, and job task assignments in accordance with safety and environmental procedures, methods, policies, rules and regulations.Is familiar with and uses correctly the appropriate personal protection equipment.Ensures protection features of equipment, process operations, and tools are operationally intact and applied as instructed.Cleans, performs basic maintenance, and makes minor repairs or specified operating adjustments to equipment.Education RequirementsH.S.
