Machine OperatorThis role involves monitoring and operating a variety of woodworking machines that cut lumber to precise dimensions, ensuring consistent quality, accurate measurements, and safe, efficient production throughout the workday.ResponsibilitiesSet up woodworking machinery at the start of each shift to ensure proper operation and correct cutting dimensions.Monitor machine performance and product flow throughout the day, making necessary adjustments to equipment to maintain quality and efficiency.Perform regular quality control checks on products during production to confirm they meet required specifications and standards.Record and maintain detailed logs of daily processes, production activities, and quality control measurements.Monitor the condition and cleanliness of machinery, performing routine cleaning and basic upkeep to support safe and reliable operation.Handle, load, and unload materials into and out of machines, ensuring proper placement and safe material flow.Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures to set up equipment and verify product dimensions.Inspect finished and in-process products for defects or inconsistencies and take corrective action when necessary.Assist with general production tasks, including assembly, packaging, and packing of finished goods.Support inventory-related activities by moving, staging, and organizing materials as needed.Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment, if required, to move raw materials and finished products safely.Interpret basic blueprints or production instructions to ensure machines are set up and operated according to specifications.Why Work Here?You will work in a very clean facility with a strong, positive culture that values teamwork, safety, and respect.
