Machine Operator/Process SpecialistMadden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Machine Operator/Process Specialist for our client in Beaverton, OR. The successful candidate will bring strong math skills, attention to detail, and a self-starter mindset to grow into a skilled, cross-trained role supporting specialty electronics manufacturing — no prior experience required, as full training is provided. Pay & Schedule Pay: $24+/hr, DOE Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM.Responsibilities:Operate and, over time, set up specialty electronics manufacturing equipment used to produce ceramic substrates and thick film circuits, with full training provided.Perform dimensional inspection using precision measurement tools such as dial calipers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify parts meet quality standards.Read and interpret engineering drawings to support machine setup, inspection, and production tasks.Collect and report production and quality data, and troubleshoot processing issues alongside the production and engineering teams.Participate in process improvement projects, including designing and documenting controlled experiments to strengthen process capabilities.Support the development and continuous improvement of department procedures, training materials, and quality standards.Take on additional production and quality tasks as assigned, including inspections, data collection, and covering for absent team members as needed.Qualifications:Strong math skills, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and machine shop math.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Comfortable using precision measurement tools (dial calipers, CMM) for dimensional inspection, or willing to learn.Self-starter with a strong attitude, dependability, and eagerness to learn new technical skills.No prior manufacturing experience required — full training provided in equipment operation and inspection to quality standards.Pre-employment drug screening and/or background check required.Benefits:Medical insurancePaid sick timeHolidays401k matchingWork Environment:This role is based in a production manufacturing environment using a variety of physical and chemical processes to produce specialty electronics, including ceramic substrates and thick film circuits.
