Machine TechnicianExperience: One to two years of mechanical experience. Language: English or Spanish Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Computer Skills: Basic computer skills Other Requirements:Knowledge of general safety rules and procedures.Ability to use tape measure/rulerAbility to take simple measurements in standard and metric systemsFamiliar with mechanical movements of manufacturing machineryComprehension of temperature controls and gauges, pressure gauges, etc.Comprehension of Hydraulics and pneumatics and understanding the mechanic aspect of machinesDuties:Operates and repairs assigned machines mechanically and electrically to ensure proper function.Prepares production items set up to meet product specifications.Monitors the quality of products to assure standards are met.Monitors material stock to determine when materials are needed to manufacture products.Meets productivity standards to achieve production schedules and service customers.Monitors and remains accountable for overall production waste.Maintains production schedules.Monitors efficiency and identifies problems.Completes required reports.Packages products to meet customer specifications.Responsible for housekeeping of assigned manufacturing area.Minimum Pay: $13.00/hr Work week: M-F, must be willing, able, and available to work overtime, weekends, and 12 hours shifts when required. Shift-Days or Nights: This position is an 8-hour shift.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts when required. Position will train on 1st. Once training is completed employee will be moved to assign shift.
Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM; 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM – 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Duration: Temporary assignment
