With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.New hires are now eligible for a retention bonus of up to $1,000!ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities/Principal Duties:Operate extrusion machineryTroubleshoot machinery and process to maintain production of quality productSet machine parameters to standard operating conditionsComplete paperwork accurately for production reporting, shipping, and testing resultsUnderstand and follow the quality policyAnalyze data using SPC techniques and adjust manufacturing parameters to achieve property targetsMaintain a clean working environment by cleaning floors, machine surfaces, walkways, and all other areas that could potentially result in product contaminationAssist in the development of operating conditions for new or improved productsWork cooperatively with others in a self-directed team environmentWork in a safe manner and follow all safety rules. Report any safety hazards immediatelyQualificationsPhysical/Cognitive Requirements:Work is performed in a plant environment with frequent contact with others.
Requires prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching, manual dexterity, frequent lifting up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Demonstration of ability to write simple correspondence read and understand simple instructions, present information in one-on-one and small group situations with other employees in the organization.
