JanitorThe Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment in and around the facility. This includes routine cleaning tasks, minor maintenance, and ensuring sanitation standards are met in workspaces, common areas, restrooms, and other designated areas.Key responsibilities include:Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors in offices, hallways, and public areasClean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixturesEmpty and dispose of trash and recycling from bins throughout the facilityDust and wipe down surfaces including desks, counters, furniture, and windowsillsClean glass surfaces, windows, and mirrors as neededRestock supplies in restrooms and breakrooms (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.)Report any maintenance or repair needs (e.g., leaks, lights out, equipment damage)Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbersMaintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an orderly mannerFollow all health and safety regulationsLock/unlock doors, turn off/on lights, and set security systems as assignedQualifications include:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience is a plusAbility to understand and follow safety proceduresBasic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and suppliesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periodsMust be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
