Production AssociateThis entry-level production associate role involves performing a variety of tasks in the manufacturing of wood components, following standard work methods and safe work practices to support efficient, high-quality production.ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of tasks in the production of wood components according to standard work methods and instructions from the department supervisor.Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages to ensure accurate identification and traceability.Check the quality of products using a tape measure and other measuring tools or equipment to confirm they meet required specifications.Notify the supervisor promptly of any mechanical issues, material problems, or process concerns that may affect production or safety.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping and safety guidelines.Follow all safety procedures and wear required safety equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses and hearing protection.Work effectively as part of a production team to meet daily output goals and maintain a fast-paced workflow.Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within established production schedules.Demonstrate a willingness to learn and perform a variety of job tasks as needed across the production process.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract to hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.75/hr.
