Machine Operator OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Audubon, MN. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on a variety of shifts.
Compensation for these contract opportunities is $18.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on shift and experience.What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:Ensure a safe work environment for self and othersFollow all safety rules and regulationsReview and follow work instruction, management system procedures and standard operating documentsRun CNC and manual machines, and handheld toolsInspect parts and identify defects and non-conformitiesConsistently and accurately complete all related paperwork/documentationMonitor fluids in machine and coolant flow in machineUtilize the 5-S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean and safe work areaProduce parts that meet the Company’s quality standardsActively participate in events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and proceduresWork at a consistent and steady pace, be prepared to work each day, and report to assigned work center in a punctual mannerWhat you need to be a Machine Operator:High school diploma or GEDManufacturing experience is preferred, but not requiredStrong mechanical aptitudeBasic math skills, must have a working knowledge of decimalsAbility to read measuring instruments and work instructionsMust be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformitiesAbility to work with limited supervisionAbility to safely operate a forkliftAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
