Additionally, this position is eligible for shift differential based on hours worked.Schedules:3rd shift is Sunday - Thursday 9:30pm - 6:00am (training on 1st or 2nd may be necessary)$1,000 sign-on bonus, payable after 120 days of continuous employment for 3rd shift(DT/PMM Department).Responsibilities:Perform accurate data entry transactions within MRP system along with accurately recording information on the Discrete job to ensure material traceability/accountabilityReads and interprets a variety of work schedules, Kanban, Discrete job, bill of materials, pick lists, drawings and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)Operation of various equipment while achieving quality standards, a production plan and cost objectives.Perform machine changeoversPerform minor adjustments and perform troubleshooting logic to maintain part specifications and conducts all operations within guidelines of the SOP's and operational codesAssist in the PM of assigned machineryIndependently start up and operate equipment as per applicable proceduresRecognize technical problems that require assistance from machine shop/engineering and request support as neededProvide feedback on processes and machine performance to engineering and manufacturing managementProvide training to other machine operators as requestedContinually review procedures for clarity, completeness and correctness. Demonstrate the ability to reference and talk through manufacturing proceduresMaintain a clean and safe working environmentSet up work station with necessary equipment and supplies as per job assignmentCoordinate with Production Supervisors/Coordinators to meet production requirementsOperates bar coding and other computerized equipmentManages in order to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirementsBuild Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirementsMay perform other duties as assignedRequirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to actively communicate with Production Coordinator and/or Production Supervisor. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
