And, SAMAZON beverages bottle the superfruit power of açaí in juice and natural energy cans.The company operates its North American business from facilities in Southern California, and the Greater Chicago Area.What You'll Be Responsible For In This RoleThe APEX Beverage Equipment Operator will assist in all areas of the Beverage Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production needs with the supervisors and inventory managers in loading/unloading trailers and production work. The Equipment Operator must be willing and able to assist in operating the Beverage Plant equipment.Monitor and log equipment values and parameters to include temperature and pressure gauges, indicators, and meters.Track correct materials for all production requirementsUnload and prepare ingredients for daily processing.Complete changeovers, CIP's, PMs, clean and sanitize tools/equipment as directed.Perform other duties as assigned.Identifying faults and troubleshooting equipment as required.Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with company health and safety regulations.Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on equipment.Fix issues that might occur during the shiftMaintain activity logsTrains new personnel on proper operational proceduresSupports food safety, legality, and quality programsExperience with minor mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.)What We're Looking ForMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceProven, reliable work historyAdditional Required Qualifications:Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingPro-active mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervisionMust be able to work as a team and follow instructionsProven experience operating machineryMechanical knowledge of automated machines and toolsAbility to repair minor mechanical issues on machines and systemsExperience conducting quality tests and analyzing dataExperience working in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:• One to two years' experience as an Equipment Operator in a similar production environment preferred• Forklift certificationPhysical Demands:• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds• Must be able to stand and walk for extended period of time• Must be able to work in freezer and cold, wet or humid conditionsHours & Workdays:3rd shift (10pm-6:30am) when business requires overtime and weekends will be mandatory.What We Offer Plus More!Our rich benefits packages are designed to support the health and well-being of both our eligible team members and families.Medical, Dental & VisionGroup Life and AD&DVoluntary Life and AD&DGroup Short & Long-Term Disability401(k)Paid Time OffFlexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramGym Membership DiscountsEqual Employment Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a culturally diverse organization.
