Machine Operator 3Location: Taylorsville, NC, US, 28681 Business Unit: Aerospace Structures Function: OperationsTriumph Insulation Systems is seeking motivated operators to support the production of engineered laminate materials used within the aerospace industry. This position is for a laminator and adhesive mixing operator. This position is responsible for operating laminating and adhesive mixing equipment while ensuring product quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and works effectively as part of a team.Primary Responsibilities:Operate laminating and adhesive mixing equipment safely and efficientlySet up and operate equipment according to work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating proceduresMonitor machine performance including temperatures, pressures, laydown rates, tracking, tension, and overall process conditionsPerform adhesive preparation and mixing activities for production runsConduct quality inspections on raw materials, production runs and finished goodsCollect samples and provide materials to quality personnel as requiredMove raw materials and finished inventory using forklifts, hoists, and material handling equipmentRecord production transactions, material usage, and process data accuratelyPerform routine machine cleaning, adhesive cleanup, and product changeover activitiesSupport troubleshooting efforts to minimize scrap, downtime and improve production efficiencyAssist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as neededMaintain 6S standards and keep work areas clean, organized, and safeFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructionsTake direction from supervisors and management while maintaining a positive team-oriented attitudeMay be asked to perform other duties, tasks, or activities as required to support business needsQualifications:Required:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to work safely in a manufacturing environmentBasic computer skills and ability to enter production dataStrong attention to detail and quality focusAbility to work effectively within a team environmentAbility to follow instructions and respond positively to supervisor or management directionPreferred:3+ years of manufacturing, laminating, coating, converting, or related production experienceExperience operating industrial equipment such as laminators, slitters, mixers, or oxidizer systemsForklift experienceMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityExperience working with adhesives, chemicals, converting processes or roll to roll manufacturingPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materialsRegularly lift up to 70 poundsWork around moving equipment and manufacturing machineryWork in an environment containing noise, solvents, adhesives, lubricants, and other manufacturing materialsWear required PPE and follow all safety proceduresWhat Success Looks Like:Produce high-quality material safely and consistentlyMaintain strong attendance and reliabilityTake ownership of equipment and work areasSupport teammates and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
