Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

We're a leading manufacturer of high-performance microwave cable assemblies, and we're looking for a 2nd Shift (3:15pm-11:45pm) Machine Operator to join our team in Woodridge, IL. If you're passionate about precision engineering and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.What you'll do:Setting-up, operating, troubleshooting and programming machinery, equipment and fixtures in accordance with written procedures and drawingsObserving machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction, and taking action when a problem is identifiedMeasuring work piece dimensions using ruler, caliper, or other measuring instruments to determine accuracy of machine operationWhat you need:High School Diploma or equivalent (required)1-2 years related experience (plus)Must possess basic math skills(addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, conversions and use of fractions and decimals) (required)Must be able to properly use calipers, micrometers, height scale, ruler, and other basic measuring devices (required)Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred)Must be able to read and interpret documents and drawings (required)Must be a U.S.
