We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a 2nd shift Machine Operator. If you're passionate about machine operation and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you!About The RoleThe machine operator will operate and troubleshoot machinery to ensure efficient production at our prefab location.What You'll DoDaily Maintenance: Perform pre-checks and routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.Record Keeping: Accurately record key information related to the parts being processed, including performance metrics and adjustments.Machine Operation: Learn and thoroughly understand machine operations and make necessary adjustments during your shift to maintain parts within specified tolerances.Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards and make real-time adjustments as needed.Who You AreExperience: Previous experience as a machine operator is a plus.Forklift Experience: Experience operating forklifts is a plus.Technical Skills: Strong ability to learn and operate machinery with attention to detail.Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and maintain production quality.Reliability: Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team and work a set schedule.Must be willing to join the carpenters' unionSchedule/LocationSchedule: Monday- Thursday 3:00 pm – 1:30 am, with option for overtimeBenefits At Valley Interior SystemsCompetitive union benefits provided including health and welfare, pension, and moreUnion pay scale including a 2nd shift differentialPaid time off
