You'll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production.A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.

Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.ResponsibilitiesSet up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintain activity logsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience as a machine operator, for a minimum of 2 yearsWorking knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)Understanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g.
constant use of protective gear)Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manualsAnalytical skillsAttention to detailAbility to lift and carry 50 pounds at various times.Position may require a lot of standing or walking.Weekends as needed.Teamwork and communication skillsThe successful candidate will be required to complete a background process including a criminal check and drug screen.
