Machine Operator
Location: Akron, OH
Pay: $18 per hour | Weekly Pay
Available Shift
2nd Shift
* 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM
What You'll Do
* Read and understand specification sheets and production instructions
* Load materials into machinery and feed materials as needed for production
* Set up and operate machinery according to established procedures
* Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient operation
* Conduct visual inspections and measure products to verify proper dimensions
* Adjust machine settings as needed to correct quality issues
* Document inspection results and report non-conforming products to a supervisor
* Assist with packaging finished products and preparing shipping labels
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Perform other production duties as assigned by a supervisor
Requirements
* Minimum of one (1) year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
* High school diploma or GED preferred
* Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment quickly
* Experience performing machine setup and changeovers preferred
* Comfortable using basic hand tools
* Basic computer skills for production documentation
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds to shoulder height regularly
* Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work in a fast-paced production environment throughout the shift
