Machine Operator - 2nd ShiftDirect hire, 8 hour shifts 1:45 pm - 10:15 pm M-F, occasional Saturdays. Heavy lifters needed. Competitive wage and benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, and holidays.Reports to: Production SupervisorWork Location: Spartanburg Facility - Spartanburg, SCWe have an exciting opportunity at our Spartanburg facility for entry-level or experienced Production Team Member who is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level.Responsibilities:Must follow all procedures and documentation requirements as dictatedMust have mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand toolsExpected to maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all 5S and PPE requirementsVisually monitor housekeeping and plant organizationMonitor and address safety & environmental concerns on the shop floor as well as monitor quality issues toward our goal of zero defectsWill be trained to operate and make adjustments to the operation processWorks safely and directs others in safe work practicesQuickly identifies equipment issues and involve support such as the Maintenance Team when the problem warrantsDirects and monitors execution of the production scheduleWill be trained to inspect the parts and perform process trouble shootingBe active in the Continuous Improvement suggestion programUtilizes the escalation process when necessaryPerform daily first piece and process inspectionsPerform other duties as assigned and assist supervisor or management as directedMaintain and ensure compliance with Motus Quality Management SystemMaintain and ensure Customer Specifications are metRequirements:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious working experience in a manufacturing production facility preferredStanding for long periods of time (8 hours per day).
