Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for our 1st Shift. You will play a vital role in operating and overseeing machines to ensure high-quality product coating. This position operates on a 12-hour rotating schedule, from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
* Select, weigh/measure, prepare, and add appropriate coatings to machines.
* Set up and operate machines to coat products efficiently.
* Observe machine gauges and equipment to detect defects or deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments.
* Record operational data accurately on specified forms.
* Understand raw materials, production processes, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Essential Skills
* Experience in machine operation and machine operating.
* Production and inspection processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Independent decision-making ability.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Previous coating/printing experience is a plus.
* Machine Operator experience is required.
* Tow motor experience is advantageous.
Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled and organized manufacturing setting, featuring a warehouse and machine floor with active production of machines and coils. The environment is designed to ensure safety and efficiency. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Strongsville, OH. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
