Machine Operator- 1st Shift

Machine OperatorUnited Direct Solutions is currently looking for a 2nd Shift Machine Operator for our Louisville, Kentucky location.Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:30PM- 11:00PM Monday- Friday, daily overtime as needed. When overtime is needed the hours are 2:20PM- 1:00AM. Saturday overtime as needed.

Peak overtime required from Mid-September through Mid-December.This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating mailing equipment to ensure the highest quality of processing for our customers.Essential Functions:Effectively perform mail equipment processing – converting post-press product into finished product by following job ticket instructions.Responsible for ensuring that mail equipment is operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to a quality standard.Accurately setup equipment to meet specific customer requirements.Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.Retrieve cores, boxes, and other supplies and materials for the equipment and daily operation.Inspect equipment for defects and perform general maintenance duties, as necessary.Ability to read and understand written instructions and job tickets, as well as comprehend verbal instructions.Maintain a clean and organized workspace.Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement events.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; One year of mail equipment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, but not necessary.Mechanical aptitudeBasic math skillsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From $20.00 and upBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftWeekend availabilityExperience:Machine operating: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In personMonday- Friday 9:30PM- 6:00AM
