Located in Kennett Square, PA, CPV is an industrial valve manufacturer looking for individuals to join our growing company. This position produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintains quality and safety standards, keeps records, and maintains equipment and supplies. We have a clean, temperature-controlled environment with working hours of Monday through Friday 6:30am - 3:15pm, plus occasional Saturdays.Essential Responsibilities:Read and understand blueprintsAbility to operate various CNC machines including starting machines, monitoring their operations, and recording operational dataInspect parts and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality requirementsMeasure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using micrometers, gauges, calipers or rulersDeburr and wash parts as neededMaintain, clean, and lubricate machinesComply with all OSHA and company safety rulesMaintain a safe and clean workspacePerform other appropriate duties as assignedPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Pays close attention to detail at all times.Able to identify drawing elements such as surface finish, concentricity, parallel surfacesProficient at using conventional measuring toolsUnderstands toleranceCapable of identifying generic lathe tools and drillsAbility to use related manufacturing tools and equipmentAbility to wear proper PPE at all timesAbility to move about machine shop and stand for extended period of timeCompensation:Competitive salary commensurate on experienceGenerous paid-time off plan and holiday payMajor medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as company-paid short-term disability and life insurance401k match up to 6%Tuition reimbursement program
