Join Our TeamTaylor DM Brands, formerly known as Amsterdam Printing, is looking for an Equipment Operator to join the team in Amsterdam, NY.Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pmYour Responsibilities:Prepare, operate and adjust assigned machinery to specifications per customer work orderMaintain a clean and safe work area and prepare for the next userProduce product to specifications by following all processes and proceduresPerforms routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum outputVisually inspect product throughout run for qualityCoordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updatesMaintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.You Must Have:Ability to set adjust machinery to required tolerancesHigh degree of mechanical abilityBasic math skills & ability to read measurements with a rulerGood reading ability.Requirements within this position:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We Would Also Prefer:Some experience in production or as an equipment operatorGood color discernmentThe anticipated hourly pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay rate offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
