This position is responsible for helping produce and prepare direct mail campaigns by operating production equipment and ensuring materials are accurately assembled, processed, and prepared for mailing.The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality work.What You'll DoFold, assemble, insert, package, sort, and prepare direct mail pieces for mailingOperate mail production equipment safely and efficientlySet up and make basic adjustments to equipment for production runsMonitor machines to ensure they are operating properlyIdentify and troubleshoot basic equipment issuesRead and follow job tickets and production instructionsMaintain accurate production records and documentationWork with team members and supervisors to keep production running smoothlyStack pallets and operate powered material-handling equipment as neededFollow USPS mailing requirements and production specificationsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in direct mail, lettershop, printing, or production is preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to identify machine issues and make basic adjustmentsAbility to read and understand job tickets and production instructionsReliable work history with good attendanceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent education and experienceWillingness to learn USPS postal regulations and proceduresExperience operating powered material-handling equipment is a plusFlexibility to work different or extended hours during peak seasonsRequirementsMust pass drug test & background checkMust be able to stand for at least 8 hours per shiftMust be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 poundsAbility to perform repetitive production and material-handling tasksCertain PPE may be required while performing specific job dutiesWork EnvironmentIndoor, temperature-controlled production facilityFast-paced production environmentTeam-oriented workplaceNo supervisory responsibilitiesAdditional Information: The company is a federal contractor, and certain projects may require government security clearance.Interested?
