Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Hiring for 3rd shift but may be required to train on a different shift.What You Will Do:Operate a variety of production machines including CMM, polish wheel, grinding machines, EDM, etc.Read and interpret process sheets.Deburr and clean parts.Make minor offset changes with oversight.Utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specifications.Perform preventative maintenance and document results.Complete Daily Walk Around and utilize communication log.Frequently move about the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment.Transport product and/or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.Run all equipment in the entire work loop and produce product at rate per standard work.Carry out tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one's skills.Qualifications You Must Have:High School Diploma or equivalentU.S. citizenship is requiredProficient with use of machine tools and precision measuring instrumentsAptitude for mathematics, including ability to read blueprints, read/work from drawingsQualifications We Prefer:1+ years of machine operator experienceWhat We Offer:Medical, dental, vision and life insuranceShort-term disability, long-term disability and parental leave401(k) matchFlexible spending accountsEmployee assistance programEmployee Scholar Program (No waiting period!)Paid time off including: 3 weeks of vacation with the option to purchase an additional week, 5 personal sick days, and 12 paid government holidays throughout the year
