Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to specifications. Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.Basic QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older2 years prior machine maintenance experience.Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.Use of basic hand tools and power tools.Knowledge of machine tools and their use.Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.Preferred Qualifications (PQs)Education: HS/GEDExperience:3 years prior machine maintenance experience.Good written and verbal communication skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Mechanical aptitude.Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications
