If you want to impact millions of customers around the world by working on the most advanced technology solutions, we want to talk to you.ResponsibilitiesIntegrating ML models into production software pipelines with focus on performance and reliabilityBuilding and optimizing infrastructure for ML model evaluation, analysis, and deployment Collaborating with ML engineers to understand model requirements and translate them into efficient system implementationsOptimization of existing systems for ML workloads and debugging complex software-ML integration issuesWorking cross-functionally to drive requirements from concept through feature launchWriting clean, maintainable production code with comprehensive documentation and testsContributing to architecture decisions, design reviews, and peer code reviewsActing as a force-multiplier by enabling both engineering and ML team members to be more productiveMinimum QualificationsStrong programming skills in Swift / C++ / Objective-CSolid understanding of machine learning concepts, model inference, and ML system design principlesExperience developing and optimizing algorithms that run efficiently on resource-constrained platformsPassionate about delivering high-quality products, comfortable with ambiguity, intellectually curious and driven to find creative solutionsAbility to thrive in collaborative environments with multiple cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both engineering and ML teamsBS (or higher) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related disciplinesPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated experience building production-quality softwareExperience building ML infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, or training systemsFamiliarity with ML frameworks (Core ML, PyTorch, TensorFlow) and model optimization techniquesPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
