The successful candidate will work with systems, software, and integration/test engineers in the QCT sensors group.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop state-of-the-art algorithms for single and multi-sensor fusion using ML/AI techniques. Typical development flow uses high level languages like MATLAB and Python.Create reports on algorithm evaluation, validation, benchmarking and delivering complete design and user documentation.Define strategies to analyze and collect data.Balance between performance, power consumption, and computational complexity.Work with global development and test teams.Software implementation in C/C++ on Qualcomm platforms.Preferred QualificationsMaster or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related area or equivalent experience.Experience with using concepts in probability and statistics, supervised and unsupervised learning, feature extraction, classification, regression etc.Knowledge of inertial sensors or working on algorithm designs using IMUs.Publications in field of signal processing/AIHands on experience of algorithm implementation and debugging.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
