Envision Recruitment are supporting a NYC-based startup reshoring the manufacture of electronic components.
Components range from Controllers, Camera Modules, LiDAR modules and many more, custom-built in the US for drones and robots!
This small, high-quality team are looking to add a Machine Learning Engineer with a solid understanding of Physics. You'd work closely with the Founders as well as Firmware Engineers, EEs and manufacturers.
If you understand Physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) and get a kick from simulating atoms and electromagnetic fields, this could be the role for you.
You should have:
- 2-5 years of ML experience, either in industry or through academia (i.e a PhD)
- A strong background in Physics, Math or similar highly technical field
- A genuine passion for bringing high-quality manufacturing back to the US
The salary of $130k - $150k is based on their current pre-seed funding; this is expected to increase significantly once further funding is secured.
For now, joining at an early stage means you'll get a significant equity stake in the business and a chance to shape the direction of the company.
