Machine Learning Engineer

A large, established professional services organization in Downtown Los Angeles is hiring a senior machine learning engineer to help build and scale its applied AI and generative AI capabilities. This is a hands on role covering the full lifecycle of ML and GenAI applications, from designing and training models to fine-tuning large language models and deploying them into production.

Responsibilities:

• Design, train, and deploy machine learning and generative AI models across the full development lifecycle
• Fine-tune large language models for production use cases
• Work with modern ML and GenAI tooling including Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and LangChain
• Partner with infrastructure teams on GPU resources and CI/CD pipelines for model serving
• Evaluate emerging research and tools to keep the team at the forefront of applied AI

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of industry experience in machine learning, applied AI, or data science
• Hands on experience training or fine-tuning language models such as BERT, Llama, or GPT
• Familiarity with techniques like LoRA, distillation, or quantization
