Focused on enhancing detection capabilities, the full-time remote Machine Learning Detection Engineer will analyze detection data, manage false positive detections, and investigate malware to improve customer threat detection processes. Key responsibilities Analyze detection data and customer reports to identify improvements in machine learning models Perform tasks to manage and reduce false positive detections Investigate binary files to assess their legitimacy and review product detections for compliance with company standards Required qualifications Exposure to and understanding of various types and functionalities of malware Experience with reverse engineering malware or malware operations Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, particularly Python Fundamental understanding of binary file attributes, including imports/exports and packers General understanding of threat and risk management principles
