Machine OperatorWe are actively recruiting for a Machine Operator for our client, a manufacturing company in Ayer, MA. The primary responsibilities will be to setup and operate varied machines for production of parts including mechanical and hydraulic punch and flat presses, laminator, slitter, material cutoff, CNC and ultrasonic welding machines.Responsibilities:Operate designated machines involved in the processing or fabrication of parts and components. Make minor machine adjustments as needed.Perform simple punch, flat or hydraulic press and other machine setups.Perform a variety of parts hand cleaning, material cutting, trimming or separation, splitting, non-complex subassembly or final assembly.Make necessary visual or gaged (template) inspections.Count, identify box or pack and stack completed work or items to be shipped.Maintain records of work performed.Maintain established quality and quantity standards.Maintain work area(s) and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition.Requirements:At least 6 months of manufacturing (machine operation, assembly, etc) experience requiredHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Ability to lift up to 50lbsHours are Mon-Fri 6am - 3:30pm.
The pay is $20.00-$22.00/hour. This is a Temp-to-Hire/Evaluation Hire position.
