Machine Builder – Automation EquipmentWe are seeking two experienced Machine Builders to support the assembly and build of automated manufacturing and assembly equipment in Simpsonville, SC. This position requires hands-on experience with both mechanical assembly and electrical integration of automation systems.The initial assignment is expected to last approximately 10 weeks, with the potential to continue on additional projects for 6 months or longer based on performance and project demands.ResponsibilitiesAssemble automated machinery and equipment from engineering drawings and blueprintsPerform mechanical assembly of machine components, subassemblies, and toolingRoute and install electrical wiring, cables, and harnessesInstall and route pneumatic tubing and componentsRead and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawingsMount sensors, motors, actuators, and other automation componentsPerform equipment troubleshooting and adjustments during assemblyEnsure builds meet quality and safety standardsWork closely with engineering and project teams to support machine build activitiesQualificationsPrevious experience building automated assembly equipment, machinery, or automation systemsStrong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprintsExperience with mechanical assembly, machine build, and equipment integrationAbility to run and terminate electrical wiring and pneumatic tubingFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipPreferred ExperienceMachine Tool AutomationSpecial Purpose MachineryRobotic Automation SystemsAutomotive Manufacturing EquipmentIndustrial Assembly EquipmentCompensationCompetitive pay based on experienceOpportunity for long-term project work and extensionsOvertime opportunities available
