Machine Builder - Nashville, TNWe're seeking a Machine Builder to assemble equipment per mechanical drawings, operate a range of machine shop equipment, and support production programs from build through completion.Assemble equipment per mechanical drawingsDocument and communicate changes and problems as they ariseWork independently with minimal direct supervisionExecute ISO Quality standardsCommunicate with the Machine Build Lead on open issues and build progressSupport program success on cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfactionKeep your work area clean and organizedAssist with preparing material for secondary processes (finishing, heat treat, deburring)Effectively and safely operate mills, lathes, drills, presses, surface grinders, saws, and shearsBasic computer skillsIntermediate proficiency reading part and assembly drawingsStrong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and qualityAbility to work well independently or as part of a teamAbility to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on/under machines at a steady paceAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to obtain Forklift, Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane, and Lock Out/Tag Out certificationsOwn hand tools and toolbox suitable for the jobWillingness to travel at least 20% of the time, potentially domestic and internationalHigh school diploma or equivalentRelated vocational education preferred
