Machine BuilderThe Capital Equipment Builder is responsible for assembling complex capital equipment and machinery according to engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions, and a commitment to producing high-quality equipment for customer delivery.ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical components into complete equipment systems.Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions.Install and align machine components, subassemblies, and support systems.Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to improve assembly processes.Document assembly activities, deviations, and test results as required.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company safety policies.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in machinery assembly, equipment building, manufacturing, or related field preferred.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly prints, and schematics.Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems is a plus.Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.Basic computer skills for documentation and production tracking.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical certification or vocational training preferred.Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems is a plus.Why Work Here?Enjoy a long-term and permanent role in a very clean production environment with great benefits.
