Machine BuilderThis role is responsible for assembling, rebuilding, and starting up complex equipment and machinery. You will fit and assemble machine components using blueprints, manuals, documentation, and your knowledge of machine construction to build, repair, and verify the performance of industrial equipment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble machines and subassemblies based on blueprints, schematics, and work instructionsInstall and align components such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and conveyorsFabricate and modify parts using welding (MIG/TIG), cutting, drilling, and grinding equipmentSafely move and position large components using cranes, hoists, and forkliftsPerform rebuilds, retrofits, and modifications on existing equipment as neededEssential SkillsDemonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience in mechanical assembly.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.Ability to conduct test runs on completed tools or assemblies and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications.Ability to work safely with cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.Employees benefit from a comprehensive total rewards package that supports their financial, physical, and personal well-being. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m with extended hours when running overtime.This is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL. The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
