Top AmLaw 200 law firm seeks an associate to join their Corporate M&A practice group in their Austin office.
The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of corporate experience and must have significant experience in corporate law practice with a focus on start-up representation and experience in venture capital, emerging companies, and M&A transactions. Candidates should have strong skills in drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing client relationships, supervising junior associates, and handling day-to-day demands and workflow requirements of a variety of clients with sophisticated needs. Significant experience with technology companies is a plus. Candidates should have outstanding academic credentials and at least three years of relevant experience.
