Are you a tax professional with a passion for mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and complex federal tax matters? A well-established industry leader is seeking an experienced M&A Tax Manager to join its growing tax team.

In this role, you'll partner with business leaders, legal teams, and senior stakeholders on acquisitions, internal reorganizations, tax planning initiatives, and due diligence projects. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact while working on sophisticated transactions in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and support M&A tax due diligence activities, including review of financial and tax data
  • Analyze acquisition structures, asset vs. stock transactions, and reorganization strategies
  • Perform Section 382 analyses and related tax computations
  • Support internal restructurings, liquidations, and tax-free transactions
  • Partner with business and legal teams on acquisition and reorganization projects
  • Assist with federal tax return reviews, tax research, and technical memorandums
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive initiatives to successful completion

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 4+ years of combined M&A tax and U.S. federal tax experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal corporate taxation and Subchapter C rules
  • Experience with corporate reorganizations, tax due diligence, and transaction analysis
  • Public accounting and/or large corporate tax experience preferred
  • CPA, Master's in Tax, or JD preferred but not required
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
