To provide pediatric care and support, the part-time Ohio Licensed After Hours Nurse will assess and recommend care for pediatric patients remotely, working 28 hours a week while interacting with healthcare providers and documenting calls in a database. Key responsibilities Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care with a family-centered approach for pediatric patients Demonstrates knowledge and skills to address the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients Collaborates with team members to ensure quality care and customer service for pediatric patients Required qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or must be obtained within 5 years of hire Current certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required Valid, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio required Minimum of three years of applicable pediatric experience required Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software preferred
